Fourteen aluminium casts are electrically connected, forming a system in which movement and sound circulate in a rhythmic but unstable sequence. As time passes, the connections between the casts gradually deteriorate through oxidation, causing impulses to weaken, shift, and fragment. Sound moves through the space in fluttering, irregular patterns, always on the edge of collapse. Parallel to this, a quieter process unfolds: the aluminium castes are individually digitally scanned and recasted and subtly change form, size and thickness with each reproduction. This analogue recursion increases the pitch of the sound with each iteration traveling through the long corridor of the Orangerie in Donaueschingen (DE). The solo-presentation 'Abweichungsversuche' was installed during the Musiktage 2025.
